    EP9 - How to Update Apps

    Part 1: Why Update Your Apps? Think of an app update like a health check-up for your phone. Updates fix security problems, make apps run faster, and sometimes add helpful new features. Skipping updates can leave your phone vulnerable to scams and slowdowns. Part 2: How to Update Your Apps iPhone Step 1: Find the blue App Store icon — it has a small rocket on it. Step 2: Tap your profile picture or account icon in the top right corner. Step 3: Scroll down to see "Available Updates" — this shows which apps need updating. Step 4: Tap "Update" next to each app, or tap "Update All" at the top to update everything at once. Android Step 1: Open the Google Play Store — it has a colourful triangle icon. Step 2: Tap your profile picture in the top right corner. Step 3: Tap "Manage apps and device." Step 4: Tap "Update all" — done! Part 3: Set It and Forget It — Automatic Updates You can set your phone to update apps automatically so you never have to think about it. iPhone: Go to Settings → App Store → turn on "App Updates." Android: Go to Google Play → Settings → Network preferences → Auto-update apps → choose "Over any network."

Part 3: Telehealth — See a Doctor Without Leaving Home If you're unwell or can't get out easily, many doctors now offer phone or video consultations — called Telehealth. In HotDoc or on your clinic's website, look for the "Phone/Video Consultation" option.

    EP 7 - How to Set Phone Password

    Step 1 - Open Settings First, look for the Settings app. It's a grey icon - it looks like a small square with some lines. Tap on it to open it. Step 2 - Find Face ID and Passcode Now, scroll down a little. Look for the words - Face ID and Passcode. Tap on those words. Step 3 - Turn On Your Passcode You'll see a new screen. Look for the option that says - Turn Passcode On. Tap it. Step 4 - Choose Your Six-Digit Number Your phone will now ask you to enter a six-digit number. This will be your passcode - the number you type every time you unlock your phone. Choose something you can remember. But not something too obvious - like one two three four five six. Type your six digits. Then your phone will ask you to type it one more time - just to make sure. Type it again. Done. Your passcode is now set. Step 5 - Set Up Face ID Face ID lets you unlock your phone just by looking at it. No typing needed. To set it up - go back to Settings. Tap Face ID and Passcode. Then tap Set Up Face ID. Your phone will guide you through it. You hold the phone in front of your face and slowly move your head in a small circle - like you're drawing a circle with your nose. Do it once. Then do it again when asked. It takes about thirty seconds. And after that, your phone recognises your face every time.

    Part 1: What Is a Screenshot? Think of a screenshot like taking a photo of your phone screen. If you see a recipe you love, an important message, a bus timetable, or a special deal , instead of trying to remember it, just take a screenshot. It saves instantly as a photo, and you can look at it later or send it to family. Part 2: How to Take a Screenshot iPhone - newer models (Face ID, no round Home button) Press and hold the side button on the right and the volume up button on the left at the same time, then quickly release both. You'll hear a camera click and see a white flash. Your screenshot is saved! iPhone - older models (with a round Home button) Press the power button on the right or top, and the round Home button at the bottom, at the same time , then quickly release. Android phones Most Android phones: press the power button and the volume down button at the same time, then release. Some phones also let you take a screenshot by swiping down with three fingers across the screen. Part 3: Where to Find Your Screenshot After taking a screenshot, open your Photos or Gallery app. Go to the most recent photos, your screenshot will be right there at the top. Part 4: How to Share Your Screenshot Open WhatsApp or Messages, find the person you want to send it to, tap the photo or attachment button, choose your screenshot, and hit send.
