REBOOT: New Year, same grief, more seasoned | S3 01

Christmas is over, let's look to the New Year. We're rebooting this episode from season 3, where Grace and Olivia share their experiences and provide some advice for other grieving young people. We’re back to kickstart season 3 of Grief in Common with Olivia and Grace, who both lost their dads to cancer aged 11 and 8. In this episode, they explore their different grief journeys but also find plenty of common ground. The conversation covers turning New Year’s resolutions into a 2025 bingo card, how they’re growing around their grief as they get older, and the importance of being kind to yourself. Why grief support in education needs to change | S4 03

Breaking news! 4 in 5 bereaved students give grief support in education a fail. In this episode, Nell (23) and Abigail (21) are joined by Letizia, Winston’s Wish Deputy CEO and Director of Services to talk about the lack of bereavement support in education and how we're changing that. Grieving students can often struggle at school with attendance, behaviour and learning – many being labelled as ‘bad’ or ‘troubled’. Our new Ask Me: Education Manifesto, Bereavement Plans and training will help educators by giving them confidence and guiding conversations with bereaved students.
