Five Stars for These Two Stars

I’ve enjoyed the writings of these two since the Deadspin days, but didn’t start listening to their podcast until about a year ago. Since then, my girlfriend and I have made it a ritual to listen to their reviews after we’ve seen the movies up for discussion, and it always feels like we’re sitting down to dinner with our two very insightful and funny friends.

A particular highlight was listening to last year’s Dorkfest on our Christmas road trip and hearing Grierson’s review of the great Let The Sunshine In, which piqued my interest in the films of Clare Denis (wow!) and Juliette Binoche (Major League Wow!) Since then, I’ve been watching as many of each of their films as possible, which led me to 2005’s Caché, which I found to be chilling and awesome. I’d love to hear your thoughts on this movie in the Reboot section of this here podcast. Please agree with me that it rules, I’ll be so sad if I’m wrong and will have to change my opinion to yours because I just want my podcast buddies to accept me. Keep up the great work!

Engaging And Fun

A great podcast for any film fan, whether avid or casual. The camaraderie between the hosts makes things fun and the discussions regarding each film are never redundant and don’t give away too much of the films plot. Bonus points - their t-shirt’s will get you porked.

Reboot Suggestion: Children of Men

I don’t see much love for it on the film forums I frequent and it always puzzles me. Please discuss this so I can know if my undying admiration for it is misplaced.

Awesome Content

The best film review podcast out there. Been listening for years and it never disappoints.

Reboot Request - In honor of Stellan Skarsgard‘s work on Chernobyl, I’d love to hear your thoughts on another of his projects, the 1990 Tom Clancy classic “The Hunt For Red October”.
