Great movie pod

Angels in the Outfield. This is a movie that was filmed and released and I’d love to hear you talk about it. Go Cardinals

Movie analysis at its best

I discovered this podcast a few months ago and have spent the entire summer pouring through the vast episode archive. Grierson and Leitch’s reviews are consistently insightful and enjoyable, even if I don’t always agree with one or both of the hosts. I always look forward to hearing their banter and humor every week. I listen to another movie review podcast that also features two friends who grew up together in Illinois. What is it about Midwest that makes friendships so lasting? Anyway, a recent episode made me reminisce about the movie ‘Bend It Like Beckham.’ So how about reviewing ‘Bend It Like Beckham?’

The Best Reviews Money Can Buy... for free!

As a recovering Film Studies major and a die hard cinephile, I'm about as picky a consumer of movie reviews as it gets, and I'm here to tell you that Grierson and Leitch are the best in the biz. They're the first podcast I listen to after seeing the week's big release, and I even frequently go back into their archive and watch works I've missed, just so I can listen to their review. Their insights and passion are unmatched, and -- above all -- they just seem like great guys and true friends.

My reboot suggestion is somewhat of a cheat... it's either of Todd Field's features: In the Bedroom or Little Children -- Leitch's choice! I remember both of these as major works of the 2000s, and am fascinated by Todd Field's lack of output since then.

Please keep up the amazing pod. Fidelio.
