    Stop Trying to Become

    What if spiritual maturity isn’t about becoming someone new, but learning to live from who grace has already made you?     Stop Trying to Become

    Have you ever felt like there are two versions of you fighting for control? One that wants to follow God, and another that keeps dragging you back into old patterns? Many Christians have been taught to believe the "old man" still lives inside them - that you're constantly sharing your life with the person you used to be. But what if that's not what the Bible teaches? In Episode 3 of the New Man series, "The Old Man Is Not Your Roommate," Sione explores Paul's teaching on the old man and the new man, revealing that the old self wasn't renovated - it was crucified with Christ. You are not living with your old nature; you've been given a completely new life. The struggle isn't because the old man is still alive inside you. It's because your mind is still learning to agree with what God has already done. Transformation doesn't come from trying to kill the old man over and over again - it comes from renewing your mind and living from the reality of who you already are in Christ.
