This podcast makes me laugh every week while also talking about religious trauma! Super fun.

This is one of my favorite podcast! Sam and Casey are absolutely hilarious. Growing up Christian was such a unique experience and the podcast is a trip down memory lane. The guys show that you can come out the other side of the culty side of evangelism and not be bitter.

Grew up in the same era as these guys. Listened to a lot of the same music. Intro and outtro music are WAY too loud.

I enjoyed the episode. We had a masters commission at the church I grew up in. There was a question about the money in the episode, out student every weekend were doing “bucket drops” which meant they were basically panhandling at red lots for money, they had a “Christian” haunted house which all the students spent months building like Manual labor the tickets were 20 dollars a ticket and it brought in thousands of people like thousands, they also had a contract with get motivated seminars where the students would travel and masters commission would get like 1000 per student they brought so it would be like 20-60k, they directors also had a brand new house built which the students helped build got free. There are people that legit have ptsd from masters, there were predators that were “staff members” that preyed on vulnerable young people. It’s crazy that there’s hasn’t been more stuff from this organization that has been uncovered! I cannot believe they actually still exist
