Growing Up Gilmore

Since binging GG in 2020 for the first time, like others, it has become "a religion", and also like for others, my comfort show of choice. Same for GG podcasts. Like a good book series from a favorite author, when you are done you are searching for more. And that's how I found this podcast the other night...searching for more, for better. I love these ladies' calm, methodical, sane and relatable approach to their GG rewatch. Some recent podcasts I stopped listening to, as it seemed they are constantly "therapizing" this beloved show. "They need to do this, they should have done that, that is so toxic etc." Or they sidetrack all over the place, relating it to their lives, going too off track from actually discussing the show. These ladies stick to the show, calmly, easy to listen to...I'm binging it and loving it. Relaxing. I don't agree with every take they have (I don't hate Dean, but I don't hate any of the characters...I take them all for what they were in the story) but I don't have to agree with them all the time! They are not so adamant with every viewpoint, as some other podcasts are...it's a calm, loving, look at a show we all love. I so appreciate their approach to it. I can understand their takes even when I might feel differently. I hope they are still doing this...it does say "through 2024", so I guess it's still going. Some recent GG podcasts I found had dropped it in 2023, with no explanation. Thank you Aimee & Elyse~a truly enjoyable GG podcast!
