Absolutely phenomenal

Everything about this podcast is so compelling and interesting, listening to people talk about things that they really love is something that doesn’t happen as often as it should. This podcast makes me want to just cuddle up in a window with a nice cup of tea and relax, it really makes my days so much brighter every time I listen. Plus the hosts are truly exceptional people who I am grateful to have an opportunity to get to know better

magic pengal discussion a beauty, wow!

Well, now I am a subscriber. The hosts really impressed me as they listened and bantered with artist guest, Skyler Badalament-Tirrell. Emily and Anne are so charming right off the start. They set the table for a concept discussion I really connected with, nostalgia that was never really there. To say I was really intrigued by this concept and their guest Sky’s story is an understatement. (I became aware of this podcast because I am a fan of Skyler’s work!) This was such a creative way to learn some of his backstory while learning about a game that, yes... i now wish I had played, in my childhood. When Emily states, “small Emily would have lost her mind over this,” and later Anne gets lost in nostagia, kindred spirit alarms were ringing. Anne pulled some questions at the end that I swear I had earlier in the podcast, so that was deeply satisfying, and props to Emily and Anne for getting questions in without ever slowing down the pace of this interview. Emily’s laughter was contagious. Anne brought some gravitas without any pretense at all. Sky is so positive and this was such a feel good interview. Around the time Sky says jokingly “everything is just the same, there are no genres,” the interview is bringing an unexpected tone of brilliant and succinct critique of an often critical online world, and Emily and Anne's great reactions to sky’s world view vindicated a whole bunch of us, I just have a feeling. So I listened twice, shared the link and flipped over to apple podcasts just to subscribe and review. Emily and Anne, your podcast is a joy. I have something new to look forward to. Listening to Nancy Drew podcast currently now, wow can all your podcasts be this good. Going to try and find out. Thank you, keep up the great unique and special topics!

Deeply engaging and very fun

A wonderful conversational podcast about how we've all got something that fills us with delight. It's hard to not be happy while listening, and also REALLY hard to not engage with the conversations, thinking about my own relationship with the varied topics brought by each guest, whether it's Lego or cosplay or riffing on movies.
