    All About the HLC

Happy one-year anniversary to Habits Podcast!

To commemorate our one-year episode, we are discussing with experts why the podcast was created: The Healthy Lifestyle Center.

The Healthy Lifestyle Center, or HLC, often referred to, is a free clinic on the Ball State University campus that offers adults free health services and fitness classes. Built in 2017, the HLC has been going strong for five years.

Learn more about the HLC with our guests, Tiffany Norman and Dr. Shannon Powers.

Tiffany Norman is currently a grad student and student clinician at the HLC, pursuing her master's degree in social work. After obtaining her MSW, she hopes to get her clinical license and go on to do therapy and case management in a community mental health setting.

Dr. Shannon Powers is an associate professor of fitness at Ball State and currently assists in supervising student clinicians and grad students at the HLC clinic. Dr. Powers is also the Director of Cardinal Wellness, a community partner with the HLC that offers Zumba and Fitness classes in Muncie Community.

Listen to what they have to say about the impact of the HLC and the services currently offered.
