    Tony Scalzo and his band Fastball shot to stardom in 1998 with their platinum-selling sophomore album "All the Pain Money Can Buy." Jeff, Eric, and Seth talk to Brad about its 20-year anniversary release. They also get into a topic about recording during Covid. Brad goes into his songwriting process while he previews his new solo track.

In this episode, The Hallowed Ground chats with multi-talented artist Chris Ballew about fronting 90's Alt Rock power trio The Presidents of the United States of America. The band became popular in the mid-'90s for their hits "Lump" and "Peaches", released in 1995 and 1996 respectively, which helped their self-titled debut album go 3x platinum. They also discuss in-depth Ballew's other career. They go over what it's like to be a Grammy-nominated children's artist under the pseudonym Casper Babypants. They also discuss songwriting during a pandemic, and how he started playing the "basitar."

The band was formed in 1986, and had tremendous chart success with "Walk on the Ocean," "All I Want," "Fall Down," and "Good Intentions." In this premiere episode, the guys kick around the band's beginning, talk about technology dependencies. They also discuss Glen's solo career and explore the unique art of bringing people together through music.
