    The Space Between Stimulus and Response

    You mean there's a space between the stimulus and the response??
    For us emotive types, that space can seem pretty slim. 
    But...in that space is our power to choose our response.
    Sometimes we react quickly because our emotions are so hightened and the sheer power of them overrides our capacity to remain poised.
    Other times we can't tolerate the intensity of the emotion so reacting immediately helps discharge some of the intensity. 
    Either way, there's benefit to creating that space.

    Every emotion is valid. Emotions inform us about what's important to you.
    Emotions want to be seen, heard and felt, not stuffed down in your gut.
    Your avoidance of emotions is also understandable and valid. Unless you were made to feel they were acceptable, and you were effectively modeled how to be with, explore, feel and express emotions, then they can be downright overwhelming and frightening. 
    When you really feel, hear, acknowledge and allow your emotions, the body softens and I can bet you would welcome that.

Intelligent and intuitive

This Therapist knows her stuff. Her work is brilliant. So much of what I’m suffering through makes more sense now. I’m very grateful for the knowledge.
She’s compassionate and warm and has a lovely voice that’s easy to listen to. She explains everything clearly and she just draws you in with her accent, lol.
She also has an app and a website I’m excited to check out!
