EP84: Tumbler & ( not only ) Rye- Behind Kristy's Lens.

Hello there, For this episode 84, chatted to Kristy from Košice, Slovakia who is a spirits and hospitality photographer also known as Tumbler & ( not only ) Rye ), with also a special mention to her partner, Marian from Kalinovo, Slovakia. Kristy talked about everything from being born in Czechslovakia and being brought up in Slovakia, her hometown a place as big as Cork, her childhood being into cartoons, creativity, starting out taking pictures on her phone, to Marian her partner investing in a camera right through to the origins of Tumbler ( and not only ) Rye. We also talked about tips and tricks for getting the shot, industry folk, favourite places to take pictures, after work drinks, other joys in life, her love of tv, movies and a lot more. EP82: Derek King- Experience Irish Whiskey

Happy St Patrick's Day, hope you have a good one. Sometimes timing is everything, so why not release the latest episode of the show on St Patrick's Day, a day celebrate all things Irish, and who better than chatting with Derek King the founder of Experience Irish Whiskey to share his story. Derek discussed his whiskey journey from working in the mines of Western Australia, to bars in Australia, Canada and the different pub cultures he's experienced. Then he brought these experiences home where his work brought him to Slane Distillery, then a meeting with a friend led to working as Powers Global Brand Ambassador. To presently creating, unique Irish whiskey experiences, and the evolution of the experiences. This episode, the 80th of the show, a milestone episode, this was about all things weird and a celebration of the weird of Ireland. So, who better than to speak to about the weird and wonderful around Ireland, than Weird Ireland content creator, Podcast host and author, Brinsley McNamara. Brinsley talked about everything from his hometown of Mullingar, Co Westmeath, his first content exploring weird Westmeath, exploring ancient sites in his youth, ancient languages, his history background, how he goes about his research, lifting stones, The Fleadh, unique traditions around Ireland and he even answered some listeners questions. For the very first episode back in a while, and to start off this season, we went on a deep dive into the time old tradition of coopering with Killian O'Mahony, Cooper from Midleton Distillery, Co. Cork. Killian talked about everything from growing up in Blarney, his love of woodwork and working with his hands, to becoming the first Cooper hired in Midleton in over 40 years. From there, to learn his trade he traveled to Scotland, Spain, America and came back home to Cork. Killian also talked about different types of wood , barrel making, quality control, mentorship, a coopers tools, his love of the outdoors, along with his other passions in his life and so much more. EP77: That’s the Spirit: Roísín Barry - Experience Manager at Rebel City Distillery

As well as her knowledge of spirits, Roísín also talked about her passion for music, performing and her favourite places to visit in Ireland, around the world and so much more.
