    Episode 4: Hate, Identities, and Representation: hearing from community members

    In this episode, our host Soraya Afzali interviews Aly Abdou, a researcher originally from Aswan, Egypt, now based in Hungary, Budapest.  As the right-wing politics in Hungary take precedence, it becomes more vital to hear from community member experiences who face political effects in their daily lives. From a bottom-up approach to understanding hate, notions of belonging, ethnicity, and identity are covered in this conversation. Focused on experiences of hate, it delves into challenges, counter-methods, and lessons in preventing hate from an individual and community member perspective.
