A truly spooky series of ghost stories set in Boston, MA. Join our host and follow along a series of events that can only be explained as "haunted happenstance."
Season Two - Teaser
Season two is creeping around the corner, and until it's here, have a quick glance at what's happening with Jennifer, John and company...
Episode 1 - #274 Ashland Way - Arrived and Departed
For the second season of Haunted Happenstance, Jennifer is bringing all of us, and some spooks, up north and into the woods. In this premier episode, we will see just how we wound up there, and just what is waiting for us a top the mountains and between the trees.
Bonus Greeting - 'Twas the Night Before Strangeness
Along with all of the amazing and unique shows in the Straight Up Strange Network, we at Haunted Happenstance want to thank all of our listeners for being wonderfully supportive for 2019 - and wish you all a very happy holiday season and safe and healthy new year!
Poem by Clement Clarke Moore.
Episode 2 - #193 Elmdale Pass - Into Chilled Air
In this second episode of Season Two, we'll split our time between the Lofts and the Ridge, where things get a bit chilly. We will also get to meet Theo and Max, as well as Josef and Whisper.
Bonus Episode 13 - Before the Lofts - Alabaster's Cat Nap Nightmare
Since some expressed a bit of concern for Alabaster and his well-being after Episode 2, I thought it was a fine time to let his voice be heard. Sit back for a different kind of ghost story from days before the Lofts!
Alabaster is voiced by the crazy-talented CK of Mirths & Monsters.

Episode 3 - #481 Oakgrove Park - Senses of Sadness
Things have grown a bit dark at both the Lofts and the Ridge in this episode, but we'll meet a new neighbor, Evie, and hear her story. We'll also check back in with Jennifer, John, Dani and Benjamin too - plus get an update on the renovations at the cabin.
Haunting and Cozy
I just discovered Haunted Happenstance and I am hooked! Jennifer’s story is easy to listen to and so engaging. A huge fan of a New England spooky season and history, I plan to binge all the episodes!
Really spooky and cozy podcast
This podcast always makes me excited for fall and spooky season. I listen to these on repeat as I do things and it’s just so soothing with the narrator’s voice and the music. As a new Englander, I love the nod to all things New England- we really are in the best place in the country for fall and halloween! The stories are fun and entertaining. Even my cat loves it and falls asleep to it.
