Hawk Talk is all about sport at the University of Cambridge. Hosts Holly and Jonathan chat to former and current Cantabs about their time in the Light Blues. Topics covered include playing international sport whilst studying at Cambridge, picking up a new sport and taking it all the way to becoming a Blue, and overcoming adversity to play sport at Cambridge. We hope to shed light on the fact that you really can excel at both sport and academics whilst at the University of Cambridge.

Welcome to another episode of Hawk Talk! In this episode, Holly and Jonathan interview multi-Blues athlete, Joy Lisney. Joy has represented the Light Blues in over 15 Varsity Matches across lacrosse, cycling, triathlon, athletics and cricket. What's even more impressive is that she's juggled and switched between sports whilst also maintaining an international music career and studying for her degree. As she comes to the end of her PhD in music composition, Joy shares with us how she managed to transfer between sports, and between music and sport.
