What Will You Do With What You've Been Given?

Now I won't get religious on you BUT there are some things God has placed in you that we need you to get on the outside. Sometimes this can be hard because trauma is unkind. Trauma can have you feeling stuck. Trauma can have you talking to yourself crazy and it can even have you in a space where you're struggling to show up as the person you know you are capable of being. Dr. Raquel Martin defines trauma as anything that overwhelms the body's ability to cope. For me, trauma was my divorce, the loss of my mother, strain in familial relationships, the loss of friendships, losing jobs, dealing with workplace trauma and so many things. I have been through so much but I made up in my mind I would not allow myself to look like what I've been through and the rest was history. As I am healing, I feel stronger for having survived all the things and for persevering. I've reconnected with my strength and I feel more grounded than I ever have in purpose. I want this for you also. Take a listen to this episode and do me a favor...at the end there's an assignment. Will you complete it? Will you tap into your gifts and show your trauma it didn't stop you? I know you have it in you and I would never discount who you are based on what you've gone through. Share this episode, leave a review if you haven't already and don't forget to subscribe. Also, if you're in ATL, tap in to my cold-pressed juice company, G Ann's juices, at www.gannsjuices.com to get started on healing your health and wellness sh*t! I am rooting for you always! Healing What May Be a Mediocre Mindset

Sometimes showing up is enough, especially when it's all we have to give. But sometimes we have more we can offer ourselves and have simply gotten used to giving less and not being challenged, leaving us frustrated when it's not enough to meet our goals. Extraordinary results requires extraordinary effort and the people who truly love us will often encourage us to push past our limit to aspire towards greatness, IF they can do so without meeting our wrath. I am most certainly guilty of becoming defensive when I've been pushed in certain situations. Perhaps it is the fact that I know the person is right and I feel guilty. I have been guilty of making up stories about their intention and drawing conclusions about their own effort to excuse the effort I wasn't giving in situations. You know...some of the games we play to be right. Healing a mediocre mindset requires allowing ourselves to acknowledge many things can be true. It's accepting that you can be doing better than you were doing and you still have more to do. It's coming to grips with the fact that mediocre effort will only yield mediocre results and we cannot be mad when we don't earn a trophy we didn't compete for! Because of hubby challenging me, I am pushing myself a bit more these days as I work towards developing a new personal best. May this episode support you in doing the same! Success Begins With a Mindset- Will You Heal the Way You Think?

Heal Sh*t family...what's good? Welcome to 2023! Our year of possibility, hope, opportunities and growth. I pray your year has started with a whole lot of yes', you've been approved, you've been accepted and all the things your heart desires. Y'all, I am excited to be on this journey with you. As I jump into 2023, I am preparing myself for all of the blessings I've seen in my dreams and visions. I am opening my heart for abundance and I am expecting great things. I chose two words to kick off my year- discipline and consistency, and I have made a vow to myself to be disciplined and consistent in all that I do.  I recognize success is truly a mindset and if I intend to meet my goals, I will have to get my mind right and keep my mind fixed on the desires of my heart. Have you prepared your mind for the life you desire to create? If not, this episode is for you. Even if you have, this episode will affirm your work and encourage you to keep going. Your mindset is going to be one of the main reasons you succeed this year! I claim this for you now. As mentioned in the episode, the sermon from Mike Todd was confirmation I am on the right track. I'd encourage you to watch it also. It's 20 minutes and it's definitely the extra push you need to get moving. I would also encourage you to make daily to-do lists or in other words, write your vision daily and be rigid about keeping your word. You won't have to sacrifice forever but you are worth the time it will take to meet your goals. I'm speaking nothing but prosperity, love, happiness, abundance, health and peace for you all 2023 and beyond...
