    Managing Thyroid Related Anxiety, Worry Loops, and Insomnia - Nicki’s Story

    Welcome to the Heal Your Thyroid podcast with Madeleine Lowry, a neural retraining specialist and creator of the 12-week Thyroid Stress-Reduction Solution program. In this episode, we hear from Nicki who was diagnosed with Hashimoto's and was struggling with anxiety and insomnia. She had been working for over a year with Dr. Eric Balcavage, a functional medicine thyroid expert. Nicki had lingering thyroid symptoms, anxiety around her health and her son's health, and racing thoughts that kept her up at night. She wanted to reduce her autoimmune thyroid antibodies and her anxiety. "I'm so glad that I took the leap because I've been working with doctors trying to heal for 3 or 4 years. And everything that I've done has kind of chipped away, but this has been the fastest." Advanced neural retraining sessions helped her to relax and the effects were very noticeable emotionally, mentally, and physically. After a few months of sessions, Nicki was much more relaxed. She no longer had anxiety bursts. Her mind was quieter, and she was sleeping through the night.     Heal Hypothyroidism and Sensitivities Naturally, the Mindbody Way - Frances’s story

    Welcome to the Heal Your Thyroid podcast with Madeleine Lowry, a neural retraining specialist and creator of the 12-week Thyroid Stress Reduction Solution program. In this episode, we hear from Frances who was diagnosed with hypothyroidism and multiple food sensitivities and had been working for a couple of years with Dr. Eric Balcavage, a functional medicine thyroid expert. Frances had lingering thyroid symptoms including fatigue, some emotional issues and the medications were making her feel worse at times. She wanted to reduce her meds and her anxiety. "The impacts were so remarkable, I was shocked." Advanced neural retraining sessions helped her to relax and the effects were very noticeable emotionally and physically. After a few months of sessions, Frances was able to cut her thyroid meds in half. Her symptoms all improved by 50-80% and she has better energy in general. "It's dramatically different," she says. Frances also worked on her food sensitivities with the Sensitivities Program and she's been able to reintroduce about 70% of the foods she had been avoiding.     Retrain Your Brain for Hashimoto’s, Fatigue, Digestion, Pain, Sleep, Hair Loss - Melissa's Story

    Welcome to the Heal Your Thyroid podcast with Madeleine Lowry, a neural retraining specialist and creator of the 12-week Thyroid Stress Reduction Solution program. In this episode, we hear from my client Melissa, a functional nutrition practitioner, who had Hashimoto's and had been working for years to regain her health. Melissa's symptoms included chronic fatigue, back pain, hair shedding, and digestion and sleep issues. Hear about her experience with advanced neural retraining sessions and how they helped her get her health back, even after having applied all of her nutritional knowledge and working with several holistic practitioners. As is typical for many of my clients, subtle changes were noted during our work together first on an emotional level, then a  mental/behavioral level and finally on a physical level. A few months after sessions, Melissa's bloodwork showed that all her thyroid levels had come back into the normal range, despite being in the middle of one of the most stressful periods of their lives. Melissa saw that as proof that the emotional work led to physiological improvements.
