    Dr. Karin Johnson, MD, FAAN, FAASM is professor of Neurology at UMass Chan School of Medicine-Baystate and Medical Director of Baystate Health Regional Sleep Program in Springfield MA. She is vice president of Save Standard Time, a volunteer run nonprofit advocating for permanent standard time.  She is co-chair of the Coalition for Permanent Standard Time Coalition and a member of the AASM advocacy committee and sleep section chair of the American Academy of Neurology. She hosted the Science of Clock Change educational video series.

Excellent podcast!

This podcast is fantastic. Dr Meghna Dasani really knows her stuff. Ive benefitted so much from her practical tips - especially when getting my kid diagnosed with mild sleep apnea. As a parent of two kids, I have struggled with not sleeping as well as I did before having kids and thanks to Dr Dasani- I’ve been able to put in place several things that are helping me to get more rest!!

Thanks so much for sharing this information via a podcast! This information is changing family’s lives! I am a Registered Dental Hygienist going through the journey of helping my children (and myself) breathe better, sleep better and live better. Dentistry is ahead of medicine in this realm. I especially enjoyed your interview with your friend and colleague and look forward to sharing it. I too was unable to accept medicating my child in hopes of finding the real root cause. We are on our way, albeit a long journey, to improving behavior and preventing sleep apnea in my children’s future. Thank you!!
