    EPISODE 054: FULL UFC 300 Recap, NBA Playoffs Set, Rashee Rice Charges & More!

    This past weekend was busy with incredible sports action, so much so that 'THE' Tony Hope and Noble Lewis recorded this episode of Hear Me Roar a day early as they couldn't wait to dive into conversation. The first segment of the episode covers the legendary event that was UFC 300, headlined by the Alex Pereira's first round knockout of Jamahal Hill and Max Holloway's literal last second knockout against Justin Gaethje. Tony and Noble analyzes the rest of the stacked card as well from the early prelims all the way to the main card. They then transition to the upcoming NBA Playoffs, but before we get there, we have to first determine the 7th and 8th seeds via the Play-In Tournament. Tony and Noble give their predictions and analysis on those games and the first round matchups of the playoffs. And then to wrap up the episode, the guys cover the developments in Rashee Rice's hit-and-run case and the federal charges Ippei Mizuhara, Shohei Ohtani's former translator, is facing for allegedly stealing over $16 million from Ohtani.

    In this iteration of Hear Me Roar, 'THE' Tony Hope and Noble Lewis recap a historic WrestleMania 40 weekend including the conclusion of Cody Rhodes' story against Roman Reigns. They also talk about South Carolina's Women's NCAA Championship win over Caitlyn Clark and the Iowa Hawkeyes, and UCONN's Men's Championship win over Purdue. The MLB season is less than three weeks old, yet we are seeing a widespread increase in elbow and shoulder injuries amongst starting pitchers; Tony and Noble breakdown what is causing this. They also talk about how the Basketball Hall of Fame needs to restructure their criteria and the Cowboys actively regressing this offseason.

Tony and Noble talk about Julius Randle being out for the remainder of the year, James Harden and the Clippers' struggles, the 76ers getting Joel Embiid back, and the up-and-down Phoenix Suns holding on to the 6th seed. Finally they talk about the excuses Ronda Rousey made in a recent interview about her upset loss to Holly Holm at UFC 193.

Tony and Noble then dive into the news breaking story surrounding Shohei Ohtani's interpreter allegedly stealing $4.5 million from him in order to pay off gambling debts. Another sports betting scandal emerged, this time concerning Raptor's forward Jontay Porter and suspicious prop bets. Tony and Noble also talk about the L'Jarius Snead trade to the Titans, the very baffling bite that took place in the UFC last weekend, and which fighter would they have by their side in a bar fight.
