Inspired by this, Dr. Brown rallied a group of cardiologists and cardiac surgeons to invest in and co-own the envisioned hospital, ultimately forming a robust physician-owned venture​​. Dr. Brown's vision was to establish a hospital that not only excelled in cardiovascular care but also fostered a sense of ownership and pride among its physicians. His leadership and innovative approach helped Baylor Scott & White The Heart Hospital – Plano achieve national recognition, including being ranked among the top hospitals for cardiology and heart surgery by U.S. News & World Report​​. The hospital, located in Plano, Texas, has grown significantly under his guidance, featuring advanced technology, a dedicated cardiovascular research suite, and state-of-the-art facilities aimed at improving patient outcomes and satisfaction.
