    Numbers: An Exodus Through the Holy Place

Building on the anthropological insights of Mary Douglas, John W. "Jack" Welch and host John S. Thompson explore how the structure of Leviticus mirrors the architectural layout of the Tabernacle: The Courtyard (Chapters 1–16): Known as the Priestly Code, these chapters focus on ritual purity, animal sacrifice, and the laws required to remain "clean" enough to stand on holy ground. The Doorway (Chapters 18–20): These threshold chapters move the focus from external "cleanness" to internal "holiness," marking the transition into a higher way of life.
