    In his first episode Hector Ktori sits down with Anti-Aging expert Dr John Levin to find out how we can live a more active life as we age.This episode was recorded in Hector's office with Dr Levin and it's authenticity about how we age and what we can do about it makes it an interesting listen packed with valuable information on anti-aging, heart health, diet, hypnosis, and the facts on Human Growth Hormone.Dr Levin is a time fighter, and at 93 years young and still working full time in his medical practice in St Kilda Road Melbourne he's living proof of his anti-aging studies. So popular is the advice of Dr even there is usually a three month wait for an appointment for new patients.Dr Levin says most doctors don't know much about anti-aging medicine as it's not taught in medical schools and he he says the field is filled with charlatans who make all sorts of claims that aren't backed up by research.Anti ageing medicine began in 1993 when 12 doctors in Chicago formed the Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine.Going and getting older are different. Ageing is a factor of the amount of candles on your birthday cake. Getting old is a degenerative process that ultimately leads to disease and death.As we age our bodies start to breakdown.Anti-Aging is about extending our "healthspan," the number of disease free years towards the end of life. In this episode Hector talks to Dr Levin about wellness and the place anti ageing medicine has in health. Topics discussed are heart health, diet, alcohol, intermittent fasting, latest fact based research into Human Growth Hormone and other supplements.
