    We love our plants! We both are learning how to care for our plants which include a few Monsteras, Snake Plants, Pothos, and Serena's new plant baby, a Jumbo Alocasia! You can't just plop them in dirt! You need the right pot size, the right soil, and to know how to water them so they live and don't get those nasty gnats!     Anxiety is a physiological reaction to our environment but it shows itself in many different forms. Working in the schools we see a lot of children who have symptoms of anxiety. Do they have stomach aches, headaches, nausea? They may be anxious about the new school year.     Once I turned 50 there are certain things I just stopped giving my energy to! Cute chonies, underwire bras, coordinating outfits, wanting to fix everything, are out the window! As my sister would say, "Not my circus"! I'm all about comfort in this era! I live in leggings, jeans, and t-shirts! Serena shares that she doesn't give a flying f*ck (her words) about what people think! She shares an experience in which she spoke up when a couple was staring at her and her friend throughout their entire meal! I hope you enjoy our little podcast!     Episode 26: A New Job, Learning to Love Being Single....for now.

    We are calling this our b******t episode. It is back to school time and that leaves us both super busy this past week! So we are sitting, sipping, and bullshitting! Serena has a 9-5 and while she is loving it, she is exhausted! Even too exhausted to entertain ex-boyfriends and dating. We discuss learning to let go when you realize you are on a different path and learning to love being single and having lots of me time! New teachers, support staff, and anyone that works at a school.... the principal does not run the school....the front office staff does! Attendance, Admin. Assistants, Registrar, Janitors, and all other support staff keep any school running smoothly!
