    EP 2: AN EPIDEMIC OF LONELINESS AND HOW IT CAN AFFECT MOTHERHOOD

    Loneliness was first talked about as an epidemic by the US Surgeon General. Tamron Hall had an episode where he was a guest and they talked about the many ways loneliness plays a part in someone’s life, health & wellness. I took what I learned and heard to apply it to this podcast episode. I didn’t know when I first heard about loneliness on Tamron show, that 1) I would cry and 2) I would relate. Loneliness has different components, it’s mainly though about human connection. So I applied it to mental health, motherhood and of course spirituality. This episode was recorded in two parts when I felt it at my core and two days later when I had gone to cacao ceremony and gained a reiki certification that changed my perspective a little on how I was feeling loneliness.     EP 8: OPENING MYSELF UP AGAIN

    Removing barriers, blocks and any walls you may have put up, can be difficult but it’s important to opening your true calling & purpose. I had to recognize that I was carrying the weight of everything that wasn’t mine to carry, I had to allow myself to grieve and appreciate that everything has its it’s timing.

    EP 7: WHAT DOES GRACE & APPRECIATION HAVE TO DO WITH IT?

    Often we are put down or made to feel bad when we are going through a tough time because we should feel gratitude for the blessings in our life. Thing is we are are allowed to have bad moments but then we can recognize it’s not a bad forever. We can appreciate what we have and stop being hyper focused on what we don’t have. We can have bad moments without bad days. Giving ourselves Grace then translates to being able to look at the glass half full.     EP 6: Let’s Talk About…Grief!

    The hardest part of life is dealing with loss and grief. People say time heals wounds but would if it’s not about getting over Grief but learning to live with it. Before we can even heal though, we must accept and have to go through the process which might look all over the place for some. Grief is not a one-size fits all and there is no finish line. The ongoing process though doesn’t have to feel alone, hopeless and like you’ll never be able to remove the dagger from your heart. You are not alone.
