On this episode of Her Authentic Self Podcast, season 5, I have the honor of speaking with Jasmin, a pre medical student, mom, business owner and founder of JAJI Skin Biologique located in Bridgewater MA.  This episode is a vulnerable discussion where Jasmin not only shares the struggles she endured in her personal journey navigating health issues as a child, but also how a holistic life style change drastically improved her life, ultimately leading her towards a deep passion in skin care. Today she uses her business and research in biology to help women take a holistic approach on bettering their internal physiology and external skin. Her practice as an esthetician goes deeper than beauty alone, she creates wellness maps for women to analyze where certain improvement can be made internally to their mental health and overall health/ wellness. This includes certain lifestyle changes like diet, lowered stress routines, skincare products and various internal biology approaches.  As a woman of God she uses her unique desire and interest in improving the health and wellness of black and minority women through her faith and personal relationship with God. This episode is for all the high functioning women that are struggling to make time for themselves. It's for the woman struggling with certain self image issues internal and externally but don't know where to start when it comes to improving their overall health using natural remedies. In this episode I have guest speaker, author, ministry leader and song writer Tasha Simone with me to discuss what made her create her "Seen by the Savior" ministry and how God has repurposed the wounds of rejection she experienced in her life. Seen by the Savior was created for women struggling with rejection and it was built on the foundation of Hagar's story in the bible. A woman that faced dark circumstances, ran away but was so captivated by God's presence and the angel he sent to chase her down, that she says with love "Truly you are the God who sees me" This episode is for all the women out there that have struggled with feeling seen and loved by God.     Planting and Reaping Your Harvest: New Year Conclusion

I wanted to wrap up the season adresing some common misconceptions in the self help world regarding New Year vision boards and New Year Manifestations. While I do believe in using the cognitive mind set of putting your vision on paper in order to rid your mind of disbelief/lack and replace intrusive thoughts with abundance; I do not believe manifesting alone is all it takes to see active change in our lives. In addition to manifesting we must also put good works behind our faith to create actionable achievable steps that will bring our manifestations to life. Not only is this psychological but this is also a biblical concept that requires faith and action to be used in unison when we pray and wait on God for our desires. This episode breaks down the concept of planting and seeing a harvest in practical farmer terms. The same concepts can be used when discussing personal growth. There can be no God given harvest without a season of planting first.  I pray this episode is a reminder and encouragement that God has not forgotten about you, however there is very important soul work that Spirit does in our hearts during our season of planting.     The Beauty of Alignment; Internal & External Signs That You Are Where God Wants You To Be

This episode is for the intentional girlies that need confirmation on whether or not they are where God wants them to be! The first half of the discussion I share current stories of alignment that are not only beautiful, but shocking! The way I've seen God start to answer my prayers so clearly has changed the more I start to pray, God not my will but YOUR will be done in and through me. I believe alignment from Spirit is the most beautiful confirmation in life that we are seen by God and that we are exactly where God says we should be. At this point in my journey, my goal is not to have all the answers, but to continuously seek God's presence by pursuing Gods purpose for me, running towards where he says I should be, who I should meet and what I should do in every season.  The end of the episode I share scripture in Mark, research on internal and external signs that make it clear we are in alignment with God as well as some practical actions steps anyone can take as they continue to chase after what God has for them.  I pray this episode is used as confirmation in each listeners life, that God speaks to us in so many different ways.
