Why changing something doesn’t make the original version wrong, and why sometimes the most meaningful choice is to leave something exactly as it is.     Episode 01: What if?

    This episode is for the female artist who is beginning to wonder if some of the things she believes about what's possible for her were never really her beliefs to begin with. In this first episode of the new chapter of Her Creative Path, I’m taking you back to where my own creative path began — from being an eight-year-old girl who dreamed of becoming an artist, to being told I couldn’t make a living from it, and the years I spent believing that was simply true. I share how creativity found its way back into the centre of my life, the dreams I began writing down during an uncertain chapter in 2020, and the question that eventually made me look differently at a belief I had carried since childhood. We’ll talk about the stories we inherit about creativity, success and what a “real” career is supposed to look like — and what can happen when we begin questioning the answers we were given before we knew we were allowed to disagree. And I’ll share the evolved version of my poem Two Dangerous Words, which became deeply intertwined with the making of this episode. This isn't about pretending that choosing a creative path is easy or knowing exactly where yours will lead. It’s about giving yourself permission to ask a different question.
