    Episode 5: Feel Your Feelings

You are going to have crappy days, some days your going to want to sleep in bed all day and not get up, and some days your going to want to give up and that’s okay to feel those feelings.Sometimes the last thing,We want to do is feel our feelings, because feelings can hurt. The problem is feeling those feelings for to long and then depression sets in and that’s a whole different discussion. What Im saying is Give yourself the space to feel those feelings, just don’t  wallow in self pity for to long.Everyone experiences moments of sadness and sitting with that sadness can be extremely helpful to understand it and understand why its there.Taking the time to process the feelings an just explore the root of the problem. We are human and as humans we have all kinds of feelings and if we don’t Address it just keeps festering and festering until we explode and usually we do that at bad times.Every feeling has a massage, maybe that message is to simply to allow yourself to feel the emotion until it dissipates.Maybe the feeling is guiding you toward some action. When you begin to explore the problem, for the most part you will realize the deeper issues and then you can dive into the next steps you need to take.If something continues to bother you, gives  you anger, fear, anxiety simply ask it what it want to tell you.Sit quietly and allow the answer to appear. When you feel peaceful, you have your answer, whether or not you like what answer you receive.

    Episode 4: Setbacks

Set backs are just apart of the journey,However there not signs to stop and i think some people forget that. They may burn a little but they do serve a greater purpose in which you will discover somewhere Down the line when you get to the other side. The one thing you can’t do is give up on yourself though because that’s the only way your going to be able to pull yourself out.Everybody’s time clock isn’t your time clock, so things will happen for you when your meant to receive them.I know its easier said then done but its true.I think when I dealt with a lot of setbacks id remember these few things: -expect discomfort because this is something new outside of your comfort zone -have a positive attitude and mindset because you will attract what you put out in the universe -Watch and learn either from other ppl that have been in your shoes like family wise or learn from watching or hearing stories on YouTube that you can relate to. -accept constructive criticism this one is hard but your not going to be right every time and that’s okay, but also learn the difference in constructive criticism and disrespectful critiques -Ask questions an connect with others because honestly you probably aren’t the only person going through this struggle and you’ll find other ppl that can relate to you.. -take care of yourself, this is the most important one, if you take nothing else from this podcast take that one because its necessary for you to be able to thrive into the person you want to be. It’s so crucial to just love yourself first and then you’ll be able to love others.

    Episode 3: Change

It’s the biggest thing that a lot of us struggle with which is…change…the big elephant in the room that we all hate to come across but i just wanna say here, you are not the person you used to be so change is very necessary. It’s necessary to grown and mature so change is inevitable.Growth is often uncomfortable, messy and full of feelings that you weren’t expecting and that’s ok.I know for myself that I hate when things change.Like I’m the type of person that likes to be organized and be on a routine so when things start to change it bothers me sometimes because im just not used to it.I think if i had to said anything i would say,Don’t be afraid to tell people that you’ve changed and that your boundaries are going to look different these days because you yourself have changed so it was bound to happen. You are not tolerating what you used to because that person is not you anymore.Your basically Reintroducing yourself to the world to a different version of yourself, which in a way it’s exciting but also very scary and sad.You just got to embrace uncertainty and change because those are some the times that make the most beautiful chapters in your life and they wont have titles until later down the road.  I know that may of sounded cheesy but its so true,I remember when me and my husband first were starting out there were so many trials and tribulations and it was just making things so hard so we kept having so many changes in our life and now looking back I couldn’t imagine doing it again but now I understand kind of how the path was changing me into a different stronger person then i ever could of been before that road bump in our journey  happened.Everything you go through has a reason to happen because it is to lead you to who you’re destined to be..
