Her Turn

Dani Hanlon

Her Turn is the podcast for women navigating life after divorce, who know there's more to this chapter than simply healing, rebuilding and getting through. Hosted by life coach and mentor, Dani Hanlon, each episode explores the conversations that too often get overlooked after divorce: identity, confidence and mindset, recognising what fits in your life now – and what doesn’t, saying ‘yes’ to all the right things, and intentionally creating a future that feels exciting to wake up to. If your divorce is behind you, life is finally feeling stable again, and you've caught yourself wondering, ‘What do I want more of now?’ – you’re absolutely in the right place. Because moving on isn’t where your journey ends. It's where everything starts to get interesting again. New episodes each week. Expanders: What are they, why you need one, and how to find them

Have you ever looked at another woman and thought, 'If she can do that, maybe I can too'?   That's an expander.   In this episode of Her Turn, Dani explores the idea of expanders - people who expand your perception of what's possible simply by living it themselves. They don't necessarily teach you how to create the life you want; they give you evidence that it can be done.   For women who have rebuilt their lives after divorce and know they have more they want to experience, create and become, expanders can be incredibly powerful.   Sometimes you don't need more motivation or another strategy - you need to see what's possible for a woman like you.   Today’s conversation covers: What an expander actually is and why having them in your life matters. The difference between expansion and comparison - and how one very common emotion can surprisingly reveal something you may not have realised. Why your environment can influence the size of the life you believe is available to you. How to find your own expanders and get into the kind of rooms where you'll meet more people who expand your vision. Why your past relationship shouldn't become the evidence you use to decide what your future relationships can look like.   Finish the episode with a simple but transformational exercise to help you find more expanders in your own life, because chances are, they're closer than you think!   If you've rebuilt your life after divorce, you're doing well, and yet there's a part of you thinking there has to be more than this, this conversation is for you.   Because the goal isn't to find women who have a better life than yours. It's to find women who make your idea of what's possible, bigger.   Work with Dani If you've built a good life after divorce and you're ready to deliberately create what's next, this is the work I do with women through private 1:1 coaching and mentorship.   Make 2027 your best, most confident and exciting year yet, join the 1:1 waitlist here for places opening later in September 2026. Why some women keep reinventing themselves (and others never do)

Why do some women seem to become more confident, more alive and more fulfilled with every passing year, while others have convinced themselves they've already become all they're ever going to be?   In this episode of Her Turn, Dani explores the one trait she's noticed in the women she admires most - the women who continually evolve, create meaningful lives and never seem to stop growing.   If you've rebuilt your life after divorce, heartbreak or another major life transition but know there's still another chapter waiting for you, this conversation is for you.   Inside this episode, you'll discover: Why reinvention isn't about becoming someone else but THIS, instead. The surprising difference between women who keep evolving and those who stop growing. Why confidence is built through receipts, not affirmations. How to start collecting evidence that you're capable of more than you think. The truth about ‘lucky’ women, and why beautiful lives are intentionally created, not accidentally found. Why the small decisions you make every day have the power to completely reshape your future. How to create more stories, fewer excuses, and a life you'll genuinely love living inside of.   Dani also shares the story of her first solo trip three years ago, the unexpected lesson she learned from walking away from a crowded bar in Madrid, and how that single experience became another piece of evidence that she was capable of creating a bigger life.   If you've ever found yourself thinking: Maybe I'm too old. Maybe I've missed my chance. Maybe this is just who I am now. ...this episode is your reminder that you are never the finished product.   Ready for your next chapter? I work privately with women through focused Intensive Sessions and 1:1 coaching, helping you move beyond the beliefs, patterns and stories that have kept you playing small so you can create a life you're genuinely excited to wake up to.   You can connect with me on Instagram here and find out more about working together from anywhere in Australia, or internationally here.   If this episode resonated with you, follow the podcast, leave a review and share it with a woman who's ready to stop waiting and start intentionally creating her next chapter.
