Winter’s Gifts and How to Opt Out of Holidays (featuring Kaitlin Curtice)
Yep, it’s getting to be that time of year. For some people, it’s a time of excitement, for other people, fall transitioning into winter can bring up a sense of dread. Both feelings are valid. Listen in as my friend, Kaitlin Curtice and I talk about her new children’s book Winter’s Gifts, and how she shifted her approach to commemorating the winter season. Kaitlin and I also discuss tips on how to opt-out of the holidays when you need to.

Customer Reviews
Amena and Kalundra!
My favorite episode of the year— Amena is extraordinary, but with Kalundra, it is just magical, too! I laugh so hard and I always come away with a show or two that I missed, but need to watch. Keep up the amazing work!
A new favorite in my feed!
It’s obvious Amena puts extraordinary effort into every single episode of HER. I can literally feel her sincerity in everything she says, and I can tell the guests she brings on are people she is genuinely excited to share with her listeners.
What I Need Right Now Regardless
I didn’t think I would relate as much as I did. I’m an old lady now with most of life already lived, but the spirit in which Ameena told the story and gave advice at the end of it transcends age and circumstance. It felt soothing. Thank you.
