LOVB's mission is to build volleyball into a major American sports league which will feature some of the world's best players, including Olympic gold medalists. Courtney Thompson (Director of Player Experience) is a two-time Olympic volleyball player and NCAA national champion at the University of Washington. Maggie Eppright (LOVB Pro Recruiting Lead) shattered volleyball records while playing at Fresno State, followed by coaching stints at Fresno State and Northwestern University. Foley, Thompson and Eppright talk all things volleyball - how they came to work at LOVB, the mission behind the league, how their experience as players has informed their decisions, what they're most excited about/what's keeping them up at night, NCAA picks and more. I relish each episode- to obtain coverage & insights on games, and learn deeper stories & experiences from those who have played & coached. Her humor, and fan perpective, adds the perfect touch to make each episode feel like you’re hanging out with your pal while listening to a game or an interview.

I’ve been a huge fan of Erin’s for years, her passion for sports and people is infectious. The deep dive interviews she features, regardless of the sport, are incredibly thoughtful. You get the very real sense that her subjects have never received questions like Erin’s before, because she isn’t interested in surface level small chat. Her curiosity and knowledge are unparalleled. Her breakdowns of events leave me feeling armed with what I need to know to go into any sports bar or backyard bbq and impress, which I understand isn’t the goal of the podcast but it’s a nice perk. Couldn’t recommend Herlights more highly! A
