    Blood and Runes | Tainted Legacies : Session 1

    Welcome to the premiere episode of our brand-new tabletop campaign! Step into the year 2127 and cross the threshold of New Babylon, a glowing, tropical glass oasis surrounded by a frozen, post-apocalyptic wasteland. In this inaugural session, we meet Team Z: a group of four newly graduated, highly eccentric, and beautifully unmotivated recruits of the Gates of National Defense (GND): Aker (played by Orion): The laid-back, surfer-style scout just trying to enjoy his morning. Briar (played by Sylvia): The quiet, book-loving intellectual tucked away in the archives. Joe (played by Jeffrey): The red-haired gremlin with a knack for digital piracy. Mira (played by Winter): The towering, unenthusiastic recruit who would rather be napping. Their mundane morning is shattered when Commissioner Johnson summons them to his office. After reviewing their less-than-stellar academic records, he hands them their very first deployment: travel east beyond the safety of the Golden Wall to the small, rustic outland village of Twoville. A mysterious, highly intelligent, and talking Malign is harassing the local farmers, leaving behind a trail of bizarre farmland destruction. Armed with their newly acquired runic Neph-pens, a mountain of tactical gear, and a quirky, gossip-loving squire named Tina, the fresh recruits step into the silent, frozen chill of the Grey. What terrifying entity awaits them under the cover of night? Is there truth to the local rumors of a massive, shifting beast that taunts its prey? And what ancient, sovereign secrets lie buried in the bloodlines of this ragtag group of survivors? Tune in as we kick off a brand-new saga of steel, shadows, and legacy!
