    Happy Birthday, B*tch!

    Both butt cheeks in, standing on two feet, back semi-hunched, the other half of hey, b*tch makes a long awaited reappearance. In celebration of Pravin's 27th earlier this August, Yasmin takes us to the 4th dimension as she reflects on her undying love for the birthday boy, preserving remembrance through key aspects of their friendship. Slowly but surely, we remain determined to take more intentional steps in cultivating a solid operation of consistent uploads.     Back To Square One - A Season 2 Premiere

    Finding Oneself, Far, Far Away With Thaqif Aris

    This is it. This is all we get. When Yasmin & I began this venture in June, we had some time to retrace our steps all the way back to 2021. That was when Hey, B*tch was first thought up about. Looking back at it all now, the title was an ironic play on how we used to greet each other at the start of every recording. In 2021 we didn't have a working title. We had a need to talk, and above all else, a dream. This year has been hard for Yasmin and me, and what's helped, through it all, was talking. And talk we did. 9 episodes, 7 guests in total. A whole lot of talking. It's been so great. I don't think either one of us could have asked for it to be any different. Today, in our season finale, we talk to Thaqif Aris, a dear friend who I personally got to know in the summer of 2020. We go over his journey in studying abroad, at a very structured institution like Cambridge, his ardor for fashion, maintaining relationships, growing up, and finding oneself, while being far far away.     Hey B*tch! Welcome back to another episode with us! Yes, I know we've been away for a while but I/We are not sorry about it at all. Being independent podcasters has allowed us the privilege to act on our own time and say what we want. That said, it also stifles us as for the most part, independent ventures of any kind have come to show that it's typically a one/two-person kinda show. In our torpor, we have just been resting, relaxing and mending ourselves for the betterment of the new year.     Hey, B*tch! Welcome back to the second part of Art & Its Convergences in The World, where we continue to speak with the highly talented, big-brained, Jordan Chan. In the last episode, we covered the roots of personal/individual creation and what it meant to have a community to validate your existence. In the second part of the episode, we go over the need to steer away from educational institutions, the purpose of having a community to create art in its many forms, and what we're currently indulging in. Also present in this episode is a clip from the 2016 movie, Paterson. Starring Adam Driver, this clip shows a conversation between his character and one of a young poet. Today, in the first part of Art & Its Convergences in The World, we speak with the highly talented, big-brained, Jordan Chan. A fine artist and writer by nature, Jordan's work coalesces the many multitudes and ways in which one can convey a story. Tapping into video formats and movement to convey emotion, Jordan has been, and continues to be a great inspiration to Pravin, a nascent, budding artist themselves. In the first part of this conversation, Jordan and Pravin go over what it means to create, what kind of art we indulge in, and what it means to be a liberated artist and creator in a world deeply rooted in making money as opposed to honing and cultivating creation.
