A shiny, happy and mostly new comic book podcast. In it two blokes of different ages will be looking at comics old & new as well as comic related media,(games, TV, movies etc.) and any other comic related goodness that thay can think of. What makes this different is A) it's British and B) it's two blokes of wildly varying ages. Andrew P Leyland has been reading comics since before he could actually read and thinks writing for the trade is the work of the Devil and that they are comics, not graphic novels. Micheal P Leyland is Andrew's spawn, 23 years his Jnr, and thinks that Geoff Johns is the best writer ever! Needless to say they don't always see I 2 I on what makes fun comics. Fun will be had by all.
Hey Kids Comics THE DEAD WEEK!!!
In an episode made in a single day, Micheal and Andrew look what was in their stockings, compare versions of Final Crisis and talk about Superman Earth One Vol 2 and Batman Earth One. Happy New Year!
It's A Hey Kids Life!
With Christmas fast approaching, Micheal and Andrew look at Christmassy comics. I'm sure that's a huge surprise to you! Merry Christmas everybody!
Hey Kids, Comics - Prodigal III
Micheal & Andrew discuss the Thought Bubble convention and then leap into the finale for PRODIGAL! Some curious art styles, a mixed bag of issues and a confused climax leave a sour taste but overall what was the impression. Download and Listen!
Hey Kids - Prodigal Part II
Dick Grayson's tenure as The Batman heats up as Micheal & Andrew look at the middle third of Prodigal! It all kicks off when Batman takes on Two-Face and Robin takes on people who talk in the cinema! I know who I think is more insidious.
Hey Kids, BATMAN - PRODIGAL Part I
The end of the year approches and so begins Micheal and Andrew's epic coverage of the end of the whole shebang that began with KNIGHTFALL - Prodigal. The start of Dick Grayson becoming Batman, not the end. The end is the beginning. Or something. Anyway, ENJOY!!

First rate FUN!
Andy and his son Mike banter about comics. Good natured and engaging, this dynamic father and son duo make for an interesting pair due to their differences in taste and generation. Well worth listening to if you want to hear spirited, well thought out comic discussion from two different viewpoints. Plus, they're British.
The father and son dynamic really fuels this show. The reviews are never stale, and the humor is top notch.
I am a devoted listener.
