Hey Sober Vegan

Jess

Traces the journey of Jess as she moves between continents, from the sun-soaked streets of Sydney to the winding roads and quiet corners of Amsterdam and Girona. It is a podcast about the spaces in between,  the detours, the pauses, the unexpected turns that shape who we are and who we are becoming. Through Becomings, Jess shares intimate reflections on identity, longing and belonging, freedom and routine, risk and safety. In Stories, she speaks with the people she meets along the way — athletes, artists, creatives, expats, whose perspectives and experiences expand our understanding of what it means to grow, choose, stay, or leave. And in Field Notes, she offers brief, tactile moments from the road: daily thoughts, dating in Europe, cultural contrasts, small lessons from sport, and the quotes or encounters that shift the week. She shares moments from her travels, the thrill of cycling through unfamiliar landscapes, the discipline and joy of fitness, and the quiet courage of creative pursuit. Each episode is a meditation on the choices that define us, the relationships that teach us, and the self-discovery that comes from leaning into life’s uncertainties with curiosity and honesty. Listeners are invited to sit with the reflections, to feel the textures of her experiences, and to consider their own journey, the ways they move through the world, love, and themselves. On Becoming is a space for noticing, for questioning, and for embracing the ever-changing rhythm of life with grace, courage, and presence.
