Megan's Story: Endurance, Miracles & Motherhood

In this powerful and deeply intimate episode, Hayle sits down with her dear friend and client, Megan Yoachum. Megan’s journey is a testament to endurance, faith, and the quiet strength of a mother’s heart. She opens up about the moment she first learned she had severe endometriosis, the miracle pregnancies doctors said would never happen, navigating an ectopic pregnancy, a devastating miscarriage, and the grief that followed. Megan talks about the terrifying diagnosis of vasa previa, a conditions often fatal without early detection, as well as having placenta previa.  Megan shares she endured five weeks of hospital bed rest filled with loneliness, fear, and constant prayers, the premature delivery of her son Adam and the miracle of his survival. She talks about having a hysterectomy at 29 and the emotional and physical healing that came after. Megan talks about the role of faith, God’s timing, and surrender through every unknown, how she’s raising her family with a firm spiritual foundation, and what every woman should know about advocating for themselves during pregnancy, including the color doppler test she believes should be included in the standard for all pregnancies. This episode feels like sitting with two friends that is honest, vulnerable, tender, and full of hope. Megan’s courage to share the parts of her story she’s kept quiet for years will help women walking through infertility, loss, medical trauma, and the ache of unanswered questions feel less alone. If you’ve ever battled for a miracle, questioned God’s timing, or carried silent grief, this conversation will meet you right where you are. Thankful, Grateful, #Blessed

In this heart-centered episode, Hayle takes us into a simple but powerful mindset practice: learning how to actually live thankful, grateful, and blessed — not just say it. With the holiday season in full swing, she opens with a grounding prayer, inviting listeners to slow down and remember the countless blessings we often rush past in the busyness of life, motherhood, and business. Hayle shares an inside look at a practice that has transformed her salons: a weekly 30-minute team meeting designed to build culture, confidence, and connection from the inside out. She breaks down each part of the meeting and explains why it matters: • Belief Statements: The team starts with what they believe they can accomplish — not dreams, not wishes, but grounded, confident statements that shape direction and behavior. • Gratitude: Each person shares what they’re thankful for, creating a culture where comparison fades and appreciation grows. • Wins: Big or small, emotional or financial — progress is celebrated because every win is evidence of growth. • Daily Priorities: One to three focused commitments that keep overwhelm at bay and create clarity. • 30-Day Goals: Short enough to feel doable, long enough to create real change. Through these simple habits, Hayle shows how gratitude, belief, and accountability lay the foundation for strong leadership, healthy culture, and aligned teams — not just in salons, but in any workplace or family system. She also shares a reflection from her Spiral Bible about paying attention to God’s creation and how He speaks through the beauty around us — from sunsets to fresh air to the tiny details of nature. It’s a reminder that we are constantly surrounded by evidence of God’s care, wisdom, and presence. Hayle closes with heartfelt encouragement for the holiday season — to slow down, enjoy loved ones, savor the moments, and enjoy lots of turkey! This episode is perfect for salon owners, leaders, and anyone who wants to build intentional habits, strengthen their mindset, and remember just how blessed they truly are.
