    The Art of Comparison

    Like so many, we compare ourselves....to others, things, expectations, etc.  In the gallery of our lives, we may have displayed art work that should probably be taken down and put in the trash...we were placed on this earth at this time with a purpose, on purpose and for a purpose.... the thief comes to steal, kill and destroy.  But there is one who knows every day before one came to be..God and He love you just the way you are.  Time to hang some new artwork..... Hope you enjoy

    Hidden Treasures - I am Loved

    It seems like the word love at times doesn't have the power or intention that it once had.  But when we think that we are loved by the God of the universe - chosen and set apart to be the receiver of this amazing love - that's a bigger love than our favorite food.  I pray this encourages you to receive the fullness of love the God of the Universe who sent his Son for you to know that you are loved.

    Hidden Treasures - I am Set Apart

    What does it mean to be set apart?  We've heard I Peter 1:16 - be holy as I am holy.  It seems daunting..... but when I think about this - I realize I am set apart for something intentional.....and it is reflect Jesus.  You are set apart - for a purpose, when a purpose and on purpose....Jesus has set you apart to be His :)

    Hidden Treasures - I am a Child of God

    Being a child.....at some point we were all one.  When we were a child - we were given the name and appearance of our parents.  As an adopted child, while we may not look like our earthly parents, we may take on their personality or likeness.   We are going to borrow Ephesians 1:4 again - before the foundations of the world, God chosen us to be his.  Since he is our Heavenly Father (if you know Jesus as your Savior), then you are a Child of God.  We bear his likeness/appearane, we have his name and we are part of his family.   This makes me think, maybe the heavenly perspective of ourselves should be higher than the earthly one.  Now there a place to grow :) Let's go!

    Are you getting squeezed? Life and Lemonade

    You've likely heard the saying, when Life gives you Lemons, Make Lemonade.  The thought came to me....that means we are going to get squeezed.  In today's episode we'll talk about making Lemonade in our lives.  Lemons - the situations and potentially challenges.   Squeezing - the pressure.  Response - the Juice - is it ripe or sour?  the Sweetness - inviting the Holy Spirit.  With all of that.....How refreshing am I to those around me and to Jesus?  Just a thought....

    Hidden Treasures - I am Chosen

    It's crazy to think that before the beginning of the world, we were chosen by God to be on this earth and this time.  Ephesians 1:4 TPT and in love HE chose us before HE laid the foundation of the universe!  WHAT?  That's crazy - when we realize and declare and truly understand / believe that God CHOSEN US before he made the world.....it begins to change our perspective. I am chosen, I am selected on purpose with a purpose for a purpose.

    Hidden Treasures - I AM series

    Recently I've been thinking about "who I am"?  Am I really defined by my career? My marital status?  My family?  Where I grew up?    In talking with friends, I find that these questions are not only mine.   I was at a leadership conference earlier this year and was reminded that what I "say" impacts who I am.  Proverbs 18:21 says life and death are in the power of the tongue.....  Would you say to someone else what you say about yourself? Probably not..... Join me on a journey of learning to change our self-talk.  I am.....powerful!  I am.....chosen!  I am.....redeemed.  I am......an overcomer.  I am......... Let's create declarations of who we are based on whose we are....His Beloved One.

    Identity and Authority with Heather Brummer

    How do we walk out who we are?  Today, good friend Heather Brummer joins me to talk about our Identity and Authority found Unveiled Horizon by another friend Bill Vanderbush (found on Amazon).   Heather is a Licensed Pastoral Counselor with the National Christian Counseling Association.  Her website www.counselingwithheathertx.com. Jesus has gifted Heather to walk with others into new levels of freedom.
