The Great Train Robbery of 1963

The Great Train Robbery of 1963

On this episode of Highkey Obsessed, Thomas delves into the Great Train Robbery of 1963, an incredibly famous heist. Often confused with a movie bearing the name the Great Train Robbery, and assumed to have taken place in the American west, the Great Train Robbery of 1963 was actually the largest heist in the United Kingdom to that point and referred to as the crime of the century.

Featuring a large crew and seemingly ripped right out of the movies, this heist inspired a great deal of myth making. All this and more on Highkey Obsessed!

    Agent ZigZag Eddie Chapman

    Agent ZigZag Eddie Chapman

On this episode of Highkey Obsessed, Thomas dives deep into the story of Eddie Chapman aka Agent ZigZag. Chapman was a man of many skills, a truant turned soldier, turned petty criminal, turned criminal mastermind turned Nazi spy, he would prove to be one of the most important double agents during World War II. This is one of the few stories odd enough to truly deserve the mantle, stranger than fiction.

I really love this show

I listen to a lot of pods but this one makes me really feel like I am just sitting at a table with friends and listening to whatever they have to tell me. Thomas is a very balanced host, knows when to shoot his shot or when to let the guests shine. I really enjoy the rhythm he has with his conversation partners. Highley recommend!
