Highside/Lowside - A Motorcycle Podcast

I’m part of the so called 20% of airtime. I ride an older Harley Davidson Dyna but love the podcast because I get to learn about genres of motorcycles I don’t have any experience in and it’s my plan to at least get an ADV/Dual Sport to go beyond the pavement and get dirty. Keep doing what you’re doing obviously it’s worked for 10 seasons so far.

It’s a great show that informs and entertains! One of the podcasts mentioned mantras and ways of getting in the mindset to ride, so I came up with the below as my not-as-short-as-intended mantra to read/say when I go for a ride: As I prepare to ride, I quiet my mind, My mind stops thinking and starts riding before I've even begun to ride physically, Like the Budha, I let the river go by without thought, My thoughts fade into movement and sight, Sight is my being, to see around me and to see the path in front of me Seeing not only what is and what will be, but also seeing speed, angle, and positioning, As I become one with the machine. Boys boys!!! Season 10 ep 3 talking about the xr650 vs klr 650. I have owned both and there is no comparison. The xr is way lighter, more powerful and is literally capable of doing the Baja 1000 out of the box. Also I have a klx300s and it doesn’t compare to the xr in any way. They’re not even on the same planet in my opinion. I like the klx300 a lot though, I also have a husqvarna 701 enduro and it makes all the other dual sports look slow and heavy it’s way over 10k though. Love the show, keep up the good work!

I usually listen to HS/LS while using the stair stepper at the gym. I will be 15 minutes into an intense workout when Zach or Spurg will say something that makes me burst out laughing. I have gotten a lot of strange looks as no one else is laughing on that device. Thanks guys for being so entertaining, informative and distracting. I love the show and appreciate your hardwork and dedication.
