    SPECIAL: Teaching of the Month; February 8, 2026: “Your Heart” (40:29)

    SOMETHING SPECIAL!  In addition to the regular His Word podcasts, which are all under 5 minutes, His Word Podcast will begin posting a “Teaching of the Month;” a full length teaching from our Westbrook Sunday morning fellowship. This month’s teaching is from February 8, 2026, entitled, “Your Heart” (45:52) This morning we considered three things in our past that we should forget. When those thoughts do come up, it is not only very beneficial to us to dismiss those thoughts, but it can be life changing! The Apostle Paul wrote in Philippians 3, “... this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before…”  There are things behind us, in our past, that are very worthy of remembering – God’s blessings!  God said in Psalm 103 to not forget all His benefits. But there are things in our past that are neither worthy nor helpful in thinking about.We all have free will to think any thought we want to think.     SPECIAL: Teaching of the Month; January 25, 2026, “The Same God” (28:04)

    SOMETHING SPECIAL!  In addition to the regular His Word podcasts, which are all under 5 minutes, His Word Podcast will begin posting a “Teaching of the Month;” a full length teaching from our Westbrook Sunday morning fellowship. This month’s teaching is from December 21, 2025,  entitled, “Glad Tiding” (45:52) In looking at the opening verses of Judges, Chapter 6, we considered a great lesson we can apply in our lives.  The same God who was there with Gideon is not only with us, but He is in us by way of His holy spirit. Ephesians 4:6 says, “One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all. No wonder Romans 8:31 says, “...If God be for us, who can be against us?” You can read God’s Word and see His power and deliverance to whole nations, to cities, to groups of people, and even to individuals. You can read and remember His miracles. And you can also think back to the times that God helped you before. No matter what challenges we face, regardless of the circumstances, regardless of what kind of trouble, regardless of the facts, regardless of the odds, God is still a powerful and delivering God!
