Episode 1: Tutor Kings

In the pilot episode, we cover Hong Kong’s celebrity tutors whose advertisements and photos are strewn across billboards, on posters and on the sides of buses. We also learn a bit more about the education system in Hong Kong and what makes it so competitive and challenging for students. Episode 2: Foreign Domestic Helpers

In this episode, we try to understand why foreign domestic helpers congregate at parks and streets around Hong Kong on the weekends. We also try to get an understanding of the experience of foreign domestic helpers in Hong Kong, and how it would differ from that of a domestic helper in Indonesia. Finally, we touch on the controversy behind the mandatory Covid-19 testing requirements placed on foreign domestic helpers.
