If you’re looking for a legit, reliable Crypto Law podcast, stop the search. You’ve struck gold (or bitcoin??).
Crypto law can be boring. God, any type of law can be (and probably is) super boring. Business law is filled with jargon, a trillion acronyms (SEC, FinCEN, CFTC, KYC, AML, BSA, LAMEEEE), and so many details that it’s easy to get lost. So it’s important to have a source that actually makes sense of the whirlwind of information out there.
Sasha, and this podcast, have become my go-to source. Not only is she knowledgeable, informative, and articulate, but she’s actually fun. Unlike 90% of the attorneys I’ve met in life, she’s relaxed, down to earth, and has an authentic way of explaining things without sounding pretentious.
This podcast stays up-to-date in the ever changing, rapidly evolving world of crypto. I work as a consultant for Blockchain startups, specifically for companies running ICO’s. It’s confusing af when you get into compliance and the legal side. But not knowing what you’re doing can lead to million dollar mistakes—or worse, mistakes worth jail time. So for professionals, a good legal source and some trustworthy commentary is invaluable. For investors, it helps you understand the atmosphere you’re throwing your cash into, and helps you learn who to trust.
Aside from the legal aspect, this podcast actually has some awesome features and guests. Sasha, herself, is fun and always brings diverse topics to the table; her guests are usually pretty cool, too. It’s not just a conference room of monotone lawyers; these are people from the industry giving real feedback, real stories, and even some real laughs along the way.
This has fast become my most trusted source of Crypto law commentary—and the only legal podcast that doesn’t bore me to death. As long as Sasha and the HODLcast keep up the good work, I’ll keep tuning in for every show!
