Through Alan’s recount, we weave through the channels of time, and to 1989 Tiananmen Square, the intersection of world history that would propel him into his life’s work. [We want to dedicate this episode to all the journalists who devoted their lives to investigating and reporting the truth, even when their lives are in peril.]
