    After a brief hiatus, Hold Up! is back, baby! We're not ready for the afterlife just yet. This week we discuss the 1980's comedy classics Ghostbusters and Ghostbusters II, along with the rest of the Ghostbusters multi-media franchise. As we venture into the world of spooks, spectres and spirits we are joined by friend of the show and Ghostbusters expert, Mike "The Birdman" Ashkewe. Together, David, Matthew and Mike must strap on their proton packs and slime-throwers to kick some ghost ass and see if these movies really do hold up.     The Nightmare Before Christmas and Coraline

    What's this? What's this? A new Hold Up! episode? Why yes, it is. Since we're caught in the weird zone between Halloween and Christmas, David and Matthew decided to look back at a movie that captures the best of both worlds: Disney's Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas and another Henry Selick (not Tim Burton) modern-day classic, Coraline. Will these two stop-motion fantasies deserve the respect they are so often lauded or should they be abandoned to the lair of the Oogie Boogie man/ banished to the realm of the Other Mother?     Scary Movies

    WAZZUP! It's spooky season and, after a short hiatus, David and Matthew are back and they're joined by newcomer and horror movie expert Amy to take a stab at all five Scary Movie movies. They'll take a look at the franchise's super high highs (puff cough cough) and extremely low lows (cough all of Scary Movie V cough) and determine if these not-so-scary movies are still funny or if they belong in the dirtpile of movies that was the early 00s.
