074 → CORY SILKEN ↗ capturing adventure at the edge

Based in Newport, Rhode Island, Cory Silken is one of the world's preeminent marine artists, with more than 25 years of experience specializing in nautical photography. He provides commercial photography and video production for the luxury lifestyle market, as well as private commissions for superyacht owners and discerning clients.   Silken’s creative imagery has been on the cover of every major yachting magazine, appears as set dressings for TV and film, and is published in numerous books. His poster editions are distributed globally, and you’ve probably seen his work if you have ever been to a hotel, restaurant, or office with a sailing motif. In 2012 he opened the Cory Silken Photography Gallery, recently relocated to a marquee location at Bannister’s Wharf!   Whether setting the mood for a brochure, capturing the action at a regatta, or making stunning images for a new book, Silken has a classy and refined creative palette to make photographs that are truly memorable.   Silken loves the ocean even when not at work. In his free time, he can be found racing hundred-year-old Herreshoff S Class sailboats on Narragansett Bay, or advocating for sustainability through his position as an 11th Hour Racing Ambassador.
