    The show opens with a story for the kids about a tree that bleeds. We are talking about the eucalyptus. In Arts-n-Crafts we carry the topic of the resin from the tree to make your own Vicks. In the second show we continue our interview with Benny DiChiara whose injury left him recliner-ridden for months--to keep pressure off his head, he had to rest in an upward position, so even sleeping in a bed wasn't an option. His wife, Donna, had to take up the role of live-in nurse, giving DiChiara medicine, Powerade and Ensure protein shakes every three hours.

    This is the first time we have ever talked about Wailing Lizards. There are resources for making some of your own Lizards. During the Curriculum Corner we discuss free resources for Grammar. During the second half we interview Benny DiChiara who in, October 2015 suffered a traumatic brain injury. He fell flat on his back on the hardwood floor of his south Baton Rouge home, fracturing the back of his skull and crushing the frontal lobe of his brain.

    I think every child is fascinated with gem stones. The show looks at gem stones and how they are formed and provides some interesting ideas for experiencial learning in the Arts-n-Crafts section. During this show we look at free math resources. After the first half we again interview Julie Lavender. She is delighted in finding creative ways to express her love for the children whose lives she touches through parenting, teaching school and volunteering in the children's ministry at her church.
