    Learning Styles

But if you judge a fish on its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid." - Albert Einstein Whether you are a seasoned homeschooler, new to homeschooling, are forced to do distance learning due to COVID19 restrictions, or just have kids, understanding different learning styles and the best ways to motivate those learning styles can help with the friction and frustrations of school. It's generally understood that different people learn in different ways. What works for one child may not work for another. Having a general knowledge of learning styles can save you a headache (or make the one you may already have not so bad!)     Homeschool Detox

    Homeschool detox - it's like preparing for a new puppy. No, your child isn't a puppy, unless they want to be. However, just like bringing a new pet into the family takes preparation, so does preparing to homeschool your kids. Take time to find out where they are academically and build a learning baseline. Enjoy spending time together doing things you all enjoy - hiking, cooking, playing with actual puppies.
