    What Does “Hallowed Be Your Name” Mean? The First Petition of the Lord's Prayer

    This week we take a small new step with Hope for the Everyday — launching a dedicated Facebook Page where these devotionals can live and where we can share encouragement throughout the week. And right as I was working on that, something unexpected happened. I found a pencil sketch I drew in 7th or 8th grade tucked inside the back cover of my old catechism. A simple drawing… but full of meaning. I’ve posted that sketch on our new Page if you’d like to see it. Today’s episode walks through the first three petitions of the Lord’s Prayer — “Hallowed be Thy name… Thy kingdom come… Thy will be done” — and how that childhood sketch unexpectedly connects to the movement of God’s name, God’s reign, and God’s will in our lives.
