    God Detours Are Grace At Work: Teaching You In Those Next Steps

    Christmas Eve | Come and Know God Better Through Jesus Christ the Sacrificial Lamb

    In Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol, the Ghost of Christmas Present tells Scrooge, “Come and know me better, man.” This Christmas Eve, we hear a similar invitation from God: Come and know Me better , not just in tradition, but right now. In this message, we explore why Jesus was born (Matthew 1:21): to save us from our sins. We’ll see how God’s love seeks us out (1 Timothy 2:4), how the Gospel announces rescue, not condemnation (John 3:16-17), and how the “sign in the manger” points to Jesus as the spotless Lamb who would give His life for us (Luke 2:11-12; 1 Peter 1:18-19; 1 Peter 2:24). Like the Wise Men following the light, and the Shepherds called out of the field - we’re invited to follow Jesus, the Light of the world, beyond the season (John 8:12; Hebrews 12:2), trusting Him to keep us in perfect peace (Isaiah 26:3).
