Registering to Vote is an Antifascist Tactic
With today being the deadline for voter registration, Roxana Khan-Williams, Liron Velleman and Nick Spooner got together to discuss the barriers to registering to vote and why young people should make sure they cast their vote at elections. HOPE not hate partnered with the NEU for the voter registration campaign, so Roxana also heard from the NEU's General Secretary, Kevin Courtney, on what they've been up to during the campaign.

State of Hate: Far-Right Extremism in Europe
This week saw the launch of 'State of Hate: Far-Right Extremism in Europe' - a colossal report which explores the state of far-right extremism across Europe. Joe Mulhall, Senior Researcher at HOPE not hate, Simone Rafael of Amadeu Antonio Foundation in Germany and Daniel Poohl of EXPO in Sweden all met with HOPE not hate's Activism and Operations Officer, Afrida Chowdhury, to discuss what the new report -- made with help of antifascists across Europe -- tells us about the start of extremism in 2021.

Signs of Hate
While the number remains, thankfully few, younger and younger people are being pulled into the extreme far right, they are being groomed online, and sometimes initiating their own cells. This alarming trend is something that HOPE not hate are aiming to curb.
Signs of Hate is a publication from HOPE not hate that brings a greater awareness to teachers, that they may be able to identify radicalization, by giving them a knowledge of the shifting trends of imagery used by the far right.
