I've listened to nearly all of these programs, and I've learned SO much about Hormone Replacement Therapy, menopause, the American health care system, and even relationships. These are topics on which, up until now, have been very hard to find concise, reliable information. I love the easy, conversational format. The host asks the questions that we in the audience are thinking, and then he and Dr. Lichten discuss and explain things in ways that are easy to understand. I have experienced the frustration of sitting in an examination room with a doctor for the 7 or fewer minutes alloted, and after asking my questions, I've come away feeling more frustrated and confused than when I arrived. Dr. Lichten's "alternative" views resonate with me and seem much more natural and sensible than slapping a drug or surgical procedure on a situation that might be resolved by simply balancing the levels of hormones and vitamins in the body.
