Bill loves horror movies, Nick is not such a big fan. They will get their drink on and talk about their feelings.
Episode 57 - The Thing (1982)
It's John Carpenter's remake of The Thing From Another World. Handsome, handsome Kurt Russell, rampant paranoia, practical gore effects... What's not to like?
Episode 56 - Invasion of the Body Snatchers (1978)
We could say that we've been turned into emotionless automatons, but we can't hide our love for D. Sutherland's 'stache. It's a thing of glory. We're continuing an exploration of remakes with 78's version of the pod people in Invasion of the Body...
Episode 55 - The Fly (1986)
Shore's score and Seth's sheets to go... We find out just how much Kick Keyser is into the Goldblum. We took a look at David Cronenberg's remake of The Fly, and maybe fell in love...

Bunkerize your place and get that party pudding ready, the real slim shape-y is back in this 2018 reboot slash sequel to the classic Halloween. Will the multiple timelines break Nick's brain? The only way to know is to listen.

Q: Do reviews need titles?
A: No. But you shoud listen to this podcast! Look, I don't especially dig horror movies and that's okay. You know what I do dig? Honey-throated men inviting me into their lair of witty repartee, a place where one's face starts to burn slightly from smiling too much, but you feel emboldened by the ache and the knowledge that they also ache, because you give as good as you get and you're safe now, safety in numbers, safe from the horror of those honey-throated men.
One of my new favorites
I really look forward to each episode. Even when I haven't watched the movie, the podcast makes for a great (and funny) story. One of my current favorite podcasts, even if they did chose Near Dark over Lost Boys for the vampire run (How dare you!).
...how funny these two dudes gush about horror movies as Bill introduces Nick (and the rest of us) to the broader horror movie genre. It's like a graduate class in film, gently dusted with fart jokes and whiskey. Smart humor, serious horror—a deadly podcast combo.
